And he's off! Andy Pollak starts his long walk

Andy Pollak (a former religious affairs correspondent, education correspondent, assistant news editor and Belfast reporter with the Irish Times) called into BCM HQ this morning before setting off on a walk from Belfast to Dublin. Andy will be walking along paths and back roads and talking to people he meets along the way. Why? Firstly, he wants to write a book about it; secondly, he wants to fund-raise for homeless people. Funds raised for BCM will be used for our projects working with young people to help them maintain a tenancy and keep them from being homeless.  Andy met up with BCM's Director, Brian Burns; BCM Superintendent, Rev Richard Johnston; Service Manager, Jackie Love and BCM Trustee (Secretary) David Gallagher.

Our thanks to Andy for helping the young people in our projects and thank you to those who have already donated. Andy will be walking for the first two weeks in July so if you'd like to donate you can do so at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Andy-Pollak
